Hello, welcome to Cambodia Through My Eyes! I’m very glad to meet you here. My name is Jack, and I’m an explorer who is full of boundless curiosity and love for Cambodia. I’m from Guangdong. Due to my job, I lived here for a period of time. That experience gave me a deeper understanding and emotional connection to Khmer culture.
Why create this blog?
You might ask, why is it called “Cambodia Through My Eyes”? Because I believe that the true meaning of travel lies in observing with our own eyes and feeling with our hearts, rather than simply moving from one scenic spot to another. There are too many perfect travel guides on the market, but they lack those humanistic, real, and even imperfect personal stories. This blog is the corner where I share that “truth”. Here, you may not find the most detailed bus schedules, but you will read the stories hidden in the crevices of Angkor Wat; you may not see the uniform tourist photo spots, but you will smell the real aroma of street food in Phnom Penh and see the most genuine daily life of the locals. What I want to share are those moments that touch my heartstrings, the unique Cambodia in my eyes.
